Fred Turpin is a Managing Director and Global Head of J.P. Morgan’s Media & Communications Investment Banking Practice. Mr. Turpin has over 25 years experience in investment banking and has advised clients across a broad range of capital structure and financing issues as well as M&A and strategic advisory engagements. Since 2003, Mr. Turpin has executed more than 100 offerings of debt and equity securities, including the 2 largest US Media & Communications IPOs of the past 15 years (metroPCS and Altice USA) and the 2 largest global IPOs (China Tower and KK / Softbank). Mr. Turpin has also acted as a strategic advisor to numerous clients across the Media & Communications sectors, including most recently Sprint, Altice, Discovery, Equinix, Zayo, T-MobileUSA, American Tower, Crown Castle, Intelsat and Telesat.

Mr. Turpin holds a BS in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Lewis Kerr Johnson Business Administration Department Scholarship as well as membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma societies. Mr. Turpin received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business where he was recognized on the Directors List.
