Mina Mitry is one of the co-founders and CEO of Kepler Communications, a satellite telecommunications company that delivers global connectivity for enterprise and governments, from large data backhaul from remote locations to globally-available smart asset tracking. Mina holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto. Prior to Kepler, he helped build and scale two startups, teaBOT and Brizi.
In pursuit of a greater challenge, he co-founded Kepler Communications in 2015 with the ultimate objective of building a space network to connect all things in space back to Earth. Mina has led Kepler to design, build and launch its first satellite in a span of only 12 months, which was the first of its kind in the world. In 2018, Kepler was named one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Space Companies in the world by Fast Company. With two satellites already in orbit, and a third scheduled for launch later this year, the company is currently preparing the deployment of its first LEO constellation for 2020.
