Erwin Hudson is Vice President, Telesat LEO at Telesat Canada, responsible for development of Telesat's innovative LEO broadband satellite constellation.  Prior to joining Telesat, Erwin managed ViaSat’s satellite communications business in Australia including satellite ground system responsibility for Australia’s National Broadband Network. Mr Hudson was formerly chief technical officer at Colorado-based WildBlue. WildBlue established the first successful Ka-band satellite broadband network, including launch of two first-generation high throughput satellites. WildBlue was acquired by ViaSat in 2009. Prior to WildBlue, Erwin was Vice President, Mission Engineering at Space Systems/Loral and satellite communications manager at TRW Space & Electronics Group.
