  • How do I register for the World Satellite Business Week

Registration can be completed online at http://www.satellite-business.com/en/register-2.

  • How do I pay for registration?

We only accept payment by credit card through our online portal. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact us at summits@euroconsult-ec.com.
 

  • Which credit cards are accepted for payment?

We accept Visa, American Express and MasterCard.
 

  • Can I register onsite?

Yes. To register onsite, go to the World Satellite Business Week information desk in the lobby of the Westin.
 

  • When will I receive the invoice for my registration?

If you register online, your invoice will be generated automatically once payment is received. A link to your invoice is included in your confirmation email.
 

  • What does registration include?

Registration includes access to all panel sessions, social events (sit-down lunches, coffee breaks and networking cocktails) and conference collaterals.
 

  • What are the different sub-events?

SmartPlane: 1-day event on Monday, September 14, dedicated to the in-flight connectivity and entertainment market.

Summit for Satellite Financing: 3-day event from Monday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 16, dedicated to the satellite communications and connectivity market.

Summit on Earth Observation Business: 2-day event from Thursday, September 17 to Friday, September 18, dedicated to the Earth observation and analytics market.

Registration for the World Satellite Business Week (full registration) includes access to all sub-events.
 

  • Can I cancel my participation?

You can cancel your registration in writing (email to summits@euroconsult-ec.com) up to and including August 4, 2020 (please note that cancellations are subject to a 15% administration fee). After this date, we no longer refund registrations.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another attendee. Prior to the Event start date, please send an email including registration information for the new participant (full name, job title and email) to summits@euroconsult-ec.com.
 

  • What happens if there are program changes or if the event is postponed/cancelled because of a force majeure?

If the event is postponed, delegate, exhibitor and sponsor payments will be credited towards the rescheduled event. If the delegates, exhibitors or sponsors are unable to attend the rescheduled event or if the event is cancelled, they will receive a 100% credit note representative of the payment received, to be used at a future Euroconsult event. The credit note will be valid for eighteen (18) months from the date of issuance.

Euroconsult will not be liable for any loss or damage sustained due to the postponement, cancellation or modification of the Event arising from any cause whatsoever. This includes any costs of accommodation, travel, transport or additional services contracted or sustained, or any additional expenses incurred, as a result of the cancellation or modification of the Event.
 

  • Where can I find information about the conference agenda?

Information about the agenda and speakers can be found on the dedicated websites for each sub-event.
 

  • Does Euroconsult provide visa invitation letters?

Yes. Please contact Kim Joly at joly@euroconsult-ec.com to request your invitation letter. Please note that this service is only available for registered delegates and speakers.
 

  • Where does the World Satellite Business Week take place?

The World Satellite Business Week takes place at the Hotel Westin Paris-Vendôme located at 3, rue de Castiglione in Paris, France.
 

  • Where do I pick up my badge and conference collaterals?

You can pick up your badge and conference collaterals at the World Satellite Business Week information desk located in the lobby of the Westin. Please present your badge to access the conference and networking areas. To obtain your badge at the information desk, you will find 3 kiosks where you can scan the code you received as part of your registration.

You will also be given access to our networking platform, the delegates list and speaker presentations by email during the conference.
 

  • What are the opening hours of the World Satellite Business Week information desk?

The information desk is open from Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 18 from 8am to 6:30pm. It is also open on Sunday, September 13 from 5pm to 7pm (exact times to be confirmed).
 

  • Is there a corporate rate for accommodation at the Westin?

Yes. The preferential rate is €435 (including breakfast). Please note that this rate is only available for registered delegates and speakers. Contact Kim Joly at joly@euroconsult-ec.com if you have not received the information and link in your registration confirmation email.
 

  • Where can I hold a meeting at the Westin?

Informal meetings can be held in the exhibition area or on the outdoor covered patio. These areas are reserved for registered delegates and speakers.

Private meeting rooms can be booked in advance and are open to people external to the conference. Please send an email to summits@euroconsult-ec.com for more information.
 

  • Is there a cloakroom at the Westin?

Yes. There is a cloakroom located in the lobby of the Westin. This service is free of charge for registered delegates and speakers.
 

  • Is there parking available near the Westin?

Yes. Parking Indigo Vendôme is located at 28 Place Vendôme.
 

  • What is the closest subway station?

Tuileries on Line 1 is the closest station. However, Concorde (Lines 1 and 12) and Opéra (Lines 3,7 and 8 and RER A) are also not very far from the Westin.
